Origin Story

While working at a pizzeria in Detroit, MI, George Chamoun noticed a huge gap in the pizza industry. Even though he was just a Uni student, he had a knack for all things pizza.

Namely, George realized that not enough pizzerias were serving that traditional type of pie we all know and love. It was all about this style and that style, while the classic, golden pizza pie was being neglected.

In order to fill this gap, he decided to open up his very own pizzeria. After all, traditional pizza is the base, the holy grail. He wanted to reintroduce this gem to the market and give the people a flavor they adored back!

He decided to set up shop in Northeast Ohio. Dedicated to serving only fresh, top-quality, perfectly made pies, George took off! His pies quickly became the talk of the town. Soon enough, he was able to grow Georgio's Pizza from one location to over 40, all resting upon the same principle.

The authentic taste and attention to detail of Georgio's pizza have always been the key to the restaurant's success. George still upholds these values and plans on doing so for years to come. After all, nothing beats honesty, deliciousness, and a well-made pie!

Pizza Culture

As we said before, Giorgio's Oven Fresh Pizza Co specializes in serving traditional pizza. However, even though this is the foundation, there are still a lot of flavors to choose from!

At Georgio's, you can always build your own pie or choose something off their Specialty pizza section. Their pies are fresh out of the oven and made using high-quality ingredients in order to preserve that traditional taste and feel. The dough is made daily, the toppings are various, and the sauce is always authentically red, made from real tomatoes.
