It was a pretty darn good pizza. The crust was slightly tougher and chewier than I am used to. Not too much, but took a slight more effort to eat than normal. But, not enough to turn me off to the pizza. Perhaps that is how the style is out here. I am used to the East coast pizza, so it may be a regional preference. Very minor compared to the rest of the pizza, and I could get used to it fairly quick. The rest of the pizza was great. And I loved that I could get anchovies. Way too many pizzerias are too scared to use them anymore. I chose Angelos because I wanted anchovies. And I am so glad I did! The sauce was good too. Which is where most pizzas fail. The cheese was also quite good. Which is a vital part of a pizza experience. This was actually similar to pizzas I have had in NY. I would totally order again when I need a pizza. The Caesar salad was good as well. I had intended to save half for tomorrow, but it was so good I could not stop eating it!
