Welcome to Armand's Pizzeria - home to some of the most delicious pies in Illinois!

We got a few locations in the state including Elmwood Park and Arlington Heights. And what makes us such a local favorite is our outstanding food and service. We're a great place to stop by with friends and family for a fresh and hot slice.

Origin Story

The story of Armand's Pizzeria goes back to 1956. And at the center of it were two friends - Michael Caringella and Armand Christopher.

What's great about these two is that they had their own unique talents. Mike was proficient when it came to cooking whereas Armand was a renowned artist. With Mike, he got his skills by working at his family's butcher shop, and he also learned some awesome family recipes.

When Mike and Armand bought the Victory Tap in Elmwood Park - it was a great chance for them to bring the best of both worlds. In other words, Mike would use his expertise to create amazing dishes. And Armand would embellish the restaurant's interior with his artwork.

As for how our pizzeria got its name, well, that was actually decided by a coin toss. Michael was the one who won it, and he picked the name Armand’s Victory Tap (which later on turned into Armand's Pizzeria).

And just like that, Michael and Armand would proceed to provide irresistible thin-crust pizzas and many other food items to all hungry locals. With that being said, we'd like you to become part of our history as well, so feel free to give us a visit at any time!

Pizza Culture

In the early days, we were one of the only places in the area to have a huge pizza oven. And so, our customers would find it very impressive when our hand-tossed pizzas made their way into the oven.

Today, we're still making some of the best pies in the state. We have some great options on our menu, and they're characterized by our famous thin crust. Still, as part of our regular choices, besides our thin-crust cheese pizza, we also have a flavorsome pan-cheese and thick-crust pie. And you could also create yours and select the toppings you like.

In addition, we serve a number of pizzas with a super-thin crust that you can find under our selection named "Pizza Nova." These are also very rich with toppings and are truly memorable.

Looking for some recommendations? If so, you can never go wrong with our scrumptious Margherita, Capricciosa, and Caprese pie. Or you can also try our signature pizza with artichoke heart, Fontinella cheese, roasted red peppers, and basil.

The Menu

Aside from our flavorful pizzas, our menu has plenty of other items to satisfy your appetite. For example, you can start your meal with our tasty appetizers. These include our mozzarella sticks, Bruschetta, stuffed artichoke, and calamari, to name a few.

Additionally, you can pair your dish with a fresh salad such as our Antipasto, grilled chicken, Caesar, and goat cheese salad. Or you could grab a side order like our French fries or garlic bread.

What's more, we have some delightful sandwiches, sliders, and pasta dishes. From these, specific options include our Italian beef sandwich, hamburger slider, meat lasagna, cheese ravioli, Grandma's meatballs, and more.

Last but not least, we should mention our tasty entrees and toothsome desserts. The latter include options like our tiramisu and cannoli and are a great way to finish your meal.
