Origin Story

Little Italy Pizza is a popular spot in New York thanks to the superb quality that we offer on a consistent basis. We're a family-operated business with a rich history. Our pizza shop on 2047 Broadway was opened back in 1990. However, our story goes further back than that.

A very important member of our family by the name of Salvatore stands at the center of our backstory. When he was at a young age, he would spend time with our grandmother and learn how to cook pizzas from her.

The pies they would make together had some special qualities. They featured a thin crust, sliced tomatoes that came straight from our own garden, and small bits of cheese. And this combination was baked in a pan on a cooktop.

While their resources were limited, the end result was still amazing. In fact, some customers have said that our pies taste like a "pizza alla casalinga" i.e. house-wife style pizza. In other words, the type of pizza you'd expect to get at someone's house in Italy.

Today, we have a huge oven and all the fresh ingredients we need, but the pizza-making style is still the same and true to our family tradition.

Pizza Culture

We have a great selection of mouthwatering pies on our menu. For a start, you can try our classic cheese pizza or even create yours and choose the toppings you prefer.

Next, we would recommend something like our vegetables and white spinach pie. The former comes with mushrooms, tomatoes, green peppers, onions, and olives. As for the latter, we make it with spinach leaves and ricotta cheese.

In addition, you can get some of our pizzas with chicken. These include options like our chicken bacon ranch, Buffalo chicken, BBQ chicken, chicken ricotta, and chicken tomato pie.
