If you're looking for a delicious pizza near you in North Carolina then no worries, you're at the right place - welcome to Marabella! We're a local pizzeria with a rich history offering outstanding food and service to all pizza lovers in Washington and Greenville.

Origin Story

The first Marabella location was opened in 2006 in Washington, North Carolina. And a bit later, in 2009, we opened our second location in Greenville. These two spots are run by Salvatore and Massimo.

However, the story of Marabella goes a lot further back than that. We can begin with the 1940s when our grandfather Salvatore was making Sicilian pizzas in a local bakery in Italy. Having gained enough experience, he and our father opened their own place in 1969. Things were going well, but when the Italian economic depression hit, our father seized the opportunity to move to New York.

Once in The Big Apple, he started working in a famous pizza shop called Italian Food Center. There, he would get to serve many famous people such as Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin. This was an awesome job for him but still, he decided to open his own restaurant in Brooklyn, in 1983.

Over the years, he would share all his knowledge and experience with us, so that we can one day run a pizzeria of our own. Thus, we opened one in Brooklyn Park Slope before, as mentioned earlier, we decided to move out of NYC and opened Marabella here in North Carolina.

Today, we're proud to continue the legacy of our family and use all the recipes and techniques to provide the best experience possible for all our customers.

Pizza Culture

All our pizzas and other food items are prepared fresh every day. This includes the dough and the sauces, and we also only use the freshest ingredients available.

With that being said, let's take a closer look at our selection of mouthwatering pies. For a start, you can get our classic cheese pizza or even create yours and select the toppings you prefer. Or you can also try some of our flavorsome Old World pan pies: Sicilian cheese, Grandma, and Brooklyn pizza.

But hey, that's not all! We also serve a number of scrumptious specialty pizzas. These include our Meat Lovers, Veggie, Hawaiian, and White Cheese pie, to name a few. Or you could also try some interesting combinations such as our Marabella Special pizza with sausage, beef, pepperoni, ham, bacon, mushrooms, peppers, and onions.

On a gluten-free diet? No problem, most of the aforementioned pies are available in gluten-free versions as well.

The Menu

Besides our pizzas, we also offer other amazing dishes and Italian delicacies. Hence, you can start off your meal with our appetizers or salads. The former include items such as our wings, fries, garlic knots, and stuffed mushrooms. And from the latter, you can get our Caeser or Antipasto salad, and more.

In addition, we have different tasty panzerotti, cold & hot subs, and paninis. You can try our cheese calzone, Stromboli, meatball parmigiana sub, Italian sub, grilled eggplant panini, and others.

In the mood for pasta? Sure thing, we got some great options such as our spaghetti varieties, Fettuccine Alfredo, Gnocchi Sorrentina, and then some.

Moreover, on our menu, you can find fresh chicken, veal, beef, pork, and seafood dishes. Plus, we serve toothsome desserts like our New York-style cheesecake and chocolate cannoli.

Last but not least, we'd like to mention our Marabella specialties, as well as our awesome kid's menu which is very suitable for the needs of our youngest customers.
