Origin Story

The story behind Pizza Inn is one of perseverance, brotherhood, and hard work. Back in 1958, two brothers decided that their love for pizza was too great to keep confined. They put their heads and hearts together and opened the first Pizza Inn. The location was convenient.

Situated right across the Southern Methodist University campus in Dallas, this new pizzeria served comfort foods to stressed and hardworking students, quickly making a name for itself within the young community.

As Pizza Inn's popularity grew, so did its locations. The brothers saw that demand was high, so they made the logical next step and opened another location. After that one came another and then another, and by the time the 1990s rolled in, Pizza Inn counted more than 10 locations across southern USA.

With creativity and imagination on their side, the brothers started creating new, exciting flavors that sat very well with their clientele. After all, college kids are all about experimentation and trying new things and so was Pizza Inn. You can see how this was a match made in heaven!

From their savory creations all the way to their sweet Pizzert, Pizza Inn was a staple of culinary innovation, and everybody wanted a slice! Not much has changed through the years in this aspect, with Pizza Inn being an all-time favorite to many.
