Origin Story

The story of Planet Pizza is all about the Rocco brothers - Joe, Mike, and Frank. They grew up in the Bronx during the 1970s and spent lots of their time at the family's pizzeria.

Their parents had moved here from Italy, and they were very hard workers. In fact, that's how Joe, Mike, and Frank learned all about the pizza-making process. And in 1991, they opened the first Planet Pizza restaurant.

Today, the Rocco brothers still adhere to the principles they learned as kids. In other words, each pizza and any other food item needs to be of the best quality possible. Thus, at Planet Pizza, we only use the freshest ingredients available. This includes our pizza dough & sauce, as well as our 100% whole milk Wisconsin mozzarella.

What's more, we still use the original family recipes so whatever you order - we promise, you're in for a real treat!

Pizza Culture

There are a number of mouthwatering pies on the Planet Pizza menu. For a start, you can try some of our regular options such as our famous Premium Cheese Pizza.
