Origin Story

Sal's Italian Ristorante was established in 1990. However, the story of Salvatore Stellino goes a bit further back.

Sal and his family had moved to the United States from Italy when he was around 13 years old. And as soon as he turned 18, Sal ventured into the pizza business and bought a spot in New York. He would even go on to rejuvenate not-so-successful pizzerias, make them profitable, and sell them.

Later on, in 1975, Sal moved to Florida and opened a few Italian restaurants in the years that followed. As mentioned before, in 1990, the first Sal's Italian Ristorante was opened as well. Since then, our business has prospered and we have expanded to multiple locations across Florida.

Pizza Culture

There are plenty of irresistible pizzas on the Sal's Italian Ristorante menu. For a start, you can try one of our New York-style pies such as our cheese and Grandma's Sicilian. Or you can even create yours and select the toppings you like.

In addition, we serve several Gourmet options that all taste amazing. A great example is our New Yorker pizza with pepperoni, Italian sausage, mushrooms, bell peppers, onions, and mozzarella. Or you can go for the Sal's Favorite pie with meatballs, Italian sausage, ricotta cheese, tomato sauce, and mozzarella.

The Menu
