GODADDY WEBSITE BUILDER INSTRUCTIONS

It's easy! Our Smart Button code is specific to each individual restaurant location. If your GoDaddy website has multiple pages for different restaurants, you'll simply want to add different code snippets to each restaurant page.

GoDaddy Website Builder requires these code snippets to be added to every webpage individually anyways.

Here's what you'll need:

One page for each restaurant. That means, each location needs to have it's own dedicated page on your website. We currently can't support Homepages or websites that don't have 1 page for each restaurant location.
A unique Smart Button script for each restaurant. The copy/paste code is specific to each individual shop, so each script will have a unique restaurant ID. Your Partner Success Manager can provide these or you can find them in Owners Portal, in the Website section.

STEP 1: GET YOUR CODE

Get your unique code snippet from your Partner Success Manager or in the Website section in Owners Portal.
The code you're given will look something like this example image. You'll notice "script" at the beginning and end. This image is an example only. Your code will have a unique restaurant ID specific to your shop.
Try not to copy it into any other word processors like Microsoft Word or Google Docs as these could change some parts of the code.

STEP 2: FIND THE CUSTOM HTML PAGE

From within GoDaddy, follow "Edit..." links to get into the website editor
In the main website window, select the first Add Section link. This is often right below the big image at the top, but location will depend on the template.
Select Files & Web
Select HTML
Click Add

STEP 3: COPY & PASTE

After clicking Add, copy and paste your code into the Custom Code field. Note: leave Title field empty. Leave Forced Height field empty.
Publish and check the live website
Repeat for each page. Unlike some other website builders, GoDaddy Smart Buttons must be added to each page. We recommend adding to every page to make sure it is easy for customers to start an online order.

The Preview in GoDaddy will show the Smart Button inside the section on the page but it the actual website will look different when published. The Smart Button will "float" and stay in view as your customers scroll through the website.

Right now we recommend using a Sticker or Button-style Smart Button instead of a Banner style. We are continuously improving Smart Buttons though so stay tuned!
