Which websites work?

Slice's Smart Ordering Buttons will work on any website that allows access to the ＜head＞ or custom code insertion in the body or footer.

You'll find instructions for most popular website builders here such as Wordpress, GoDaddy, Wix, Squarespace, Weebly, Duda, Bentobox, and Square.

Slice partners are also using Smart Ordering Buttons on websites made in Shopify, Sitebuilder.com, Spothopper, Joomla, Webflow, Drupal, Zyro, Yola, Simvoly, Homestead, IONOS (1&1) and many others!

Which websites won't work?

Google Sites, Google My Business websites, and FoodTec websites are not supported currently.

How to get started

In general, there are 3 steps, but please check the specific instructions for your type of website. 1. Get the code snippet for your restaurant(s) from your Partner Success Manager or Owners Portal. If your website has multiple locations, you'll need a slightly different code for each location. 2. Add the code to the ＜head＞ section of your website. If you are adding Smart Buttons for different restaurants on different location pages, make sure the correct code is applied to each restaurant page's ＜head＞ tag. 3. Customize! Here's the fun part! Check out the Smart Buttons page in Owners Portal or ask your Partner Success Manager for help.

What should I do about existing buttons and links? We recommend leaving existing ordering links in place as many Classic buttons and links still work very well, even after Smart Ordering Buttons are added.

Soon, you'll be in full control and can make changes anytime in Owners Portal without changing code on your website. For now, your Partner Success manager will share a small code snippet which contains a unique identifier for your restaurant.

Although the Smart Button is super easy to get started, Slice can help you get this implemented. Please reach out to your Partner Success Manager. Otherwise, we've included simple instructions for the most popular website management tools like Wordpress, Squarespace, and more.

The script provided simply needs to be copied and pasted into the head section of your site, just like a Google Analytics code.
