STEP 1: GET YOUR CODE

• Get your unique code snippet from your Partner Success Manager or in the Website section in Owners Portal.
• The code you're given will look something like this example image. You'll notice "script" at the beginning and end. This image is an example only. Your code will have a unique restaurant ID specific to your shop.
• Try not to copy it into any other word processors like Microsoft Word or Google Docs as these could change some parts of the code.

STEP 2: FIND THE SNIPPETS PAGE

1. After entering Wix, find and click the Website Settings or other Website Editor links.
2. In the left side navigation, select Settings.
3. Scroll to the bottom and click the Custom code button.

STEP 3: COPY, PASTE, APPLY

FOR WEBSITES WITH 1 LOCATION

1. In the Custom Code page, click the Add Custom Code button in the top right corner of the page.
2. Copy and paste your code into the first field labeled, Paste the code snippet here.
3. Confirm the Domain field if you have multiple domains managed in Wix. Make sure it is the website that you want to update.
4. The Name field is where you can call this code snippet whatever you want. Put something there that will help you remember what this snippet is for. Some ideas: "Slice", "Slice Smart Button", "Online Ordering".
5. Scroll to the bottom and click Apply.

The Code Type should be Essential (not Analytics or anything else).

FOR WEBSITES WITH MULTIPLE LOCATIONS

1. In the Custom Code page, click the Add Custom Code button in the top right corner of the page.
2. Copy and paste your code into the first field labeled, Paste the code snippet here. Remember, you have different codes for different restaurants.
3. Confirm the Domain field if you have multiple domains managed in Wix. Make sure it is the website that you want to update.
4. The Name field is where you can call this code snippet whatever you want. Put something that is location specific. Some ideas: "Pizza Mania Brooklyn", "Pizza Mania 1st Avenue", etc.
5. Under the Add Code to Pages change the selection from All Pages to Choose specific pages.
6. Select the page that matches the location you're setting up. Do this by typing in the name of that page.
7. Scroll to the bottom and click Apply.

Stay in this Custom Code section of Wix and repeat for each location, adding new code snippets for each restaurant.

The Code Type should be Essential (not Analytics or anything else).
